BEAUTY PREP SCHOOL: HOW TO GET PERFECT BROWS ALL THE TIME

If your face is the canvas, then your eyebrows are the frame. And, like any work of art, your face deserves a stunning frame to show it off. Getting full, lush brows doesn’t require a M.A. in makeup, promise. With the help of a few key products, you can create bold, defined, face-framing bristles. So drop the tweezers and learn how to create the brows you’ve been dreaming of.

Step 1: Brush Up.

This is the easiest and most overlooked way to groom your brows. Start by brushing them in an upward motion to reveal their ideal shape and instantly lift the face.

Step 2: Outline.

Take a finely-tipped brow pencil (we’re fans of Goof Proof Brow Pencil by Benefit), and draw long strokes to outline your natural brow, starting slightly above the arch of the brow and then below the brow in the direction of hair growth. This helps them look their most natural instead of drastically trying to shape your brows into something they’re not.

Step 3: Fill ‘Er Up.

Apply small, dash-like strokes to mimic actual hairs while filling in your eyebrows. For a natural finish, stick with a colour that matches your brow hair or one shade lighter, even if you dye the hair on your head.

Step 4: Highlight.

Cheat the illusion of a more lifted, youthful brow by applying Lise Watier 24 Hrs Glam Eyeshadow in Champagne Glam, a shimmery eye shadow that doubles as a highlighter, under your arch on the brow bone.
