SHOPPERS DRUG MART/PHARMAPRIX VOLUNTARILY RECALLS BALEA KIDS HAIR PUTTY

Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix is voluntarily recalling Balea Kids Hair Putty (150 mL, product number 057800741640, lot code C117) as a precautionary measure due to a potential microbial contamination.

The manufacturer has become aware of a potential contamination of Burkholderia cepacia. While there have been no reported incidents of illness associated with this product, as a precautionary measure customers are asked to immediately discontinue use of Balea Kids Hair Putty (150 mL, product number 057800741640, lot code C117) and to return it to their local Shoppers Drug Mart store for a refund.

Please note that only lot code C117 is included in this recall. The lot code can be found on the bottle directly underneath the bar code. All other lot codes of this product are safe for sale and use.
